Our History & Background
1997: Began offering professional Christmas decorating services, lighting homes, subdivisions, and commercial buildings with high-quality, commercial-grade lights.
Seasonal Service: Provided Christmas light rental, including installation, maintenance, removal, and storage each year.
Early 2000s: Founder J worked as a caddie at Medinah and envisioned a year-round business, leading to expansion into painting.
2006: Officially launched J’s Painting & Christmas, Inc., combining painting and holiday decorating under one trusted local brand.
2023: Customer requests inspired exploration of permanent roofline lighting systems, now offering fully customizable, color-matched, aluminum-mounted lighting that looks great day and night.
Today: A full suite of services—interior and exterior painting, seasonal Christmas decorating, and premium permanent lighting systems—for homeowners and businesses.
Our Story
Since 1997, J’s Painting & Christmas, Inc. has been brightening homes and businesses in St. Charles with professional Christmas decorating services and high-quality commercial-grade lights. What began as a seasonal business quickly grew when founder J combined his off-season experience as a caddie with a passion for painting. By 2006, the company expanded into interior and exterior painting, bringing the same attention to detail and reliability to year-round projects.
In 2023, customer requests inspired us to explore permanent, customizable roofline lighting systems. Today, we offer a full suite of services—painting, seasonal holiday decorating, and premium permanent lighting—designed to enhance your home’s beauty and value, day and night. With nearly three decades of experience, our team delivers craftsmanship, creativity, and peace of mind on every project.
